Maritime Transport – Marine Electrical Automation

Study programme “Maritime Transport – Marine Electrical Automation” main areas: electrical engineering, marine power plants, microprocessors and PLC, marine diesel engines and turbines, components and devices of ships automatics, automatic ship control systems, technical maintenance of electrical equipment of a ship, workshop practice and maritime English. Studies are organised in the form of lectures, seminars, project works and discussion groups. The programme incorporates a minimum of six-month shipboard training and practical training in shipyards and other shore companies.
Students can apply for Erasmus+ scholarships for study mobility and/or traineeship mobility.

The study programme leads to the Marine Electro-Technical Officer certificate of competency. Further careers are also possible in the electricity and electronics sectors of maritime shore-based companies, et al.
