RTU Invites You to a Guest Lecture by Oxford Univeristy Mathematician and Renowned Youtuber Tom Crawford to Find Out if Maths Will Save the World

How to use maths to reduce pollution in our oceans and save the planet? Oxford University mathematician Tom Crawford, who shares his love of mathematics with millions on his award-winning YouTube channel, will talk about mathematical modelling and how it can be used to solve a variety of problems in a one-off lecture at Riga Technical University's (RTU) Science and Innovation Centre «The Moon» on 20 April at 11.00.

«Blended Intensive Programme» (BIP) at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences Helps to Develop a Marketing Campaign for Interrail

In a «Blended Intensive Programme» (BIP) at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, 40 students from six European partner universities spent a week developing a marketing campaign for Interrail, the European rail pass. Part of their creative collaboration in this practice-oriented project, in which the EUT+ University Alliance took part with students from Cyprus and Latvia, was about crossing frontiers. The results were convincing: at the end of the programme, many of the budding advertising gurus could imagine travelling by Interrail themselves.

TU Dublin Hosts European University of Technology Work Week Advancing EUT+ Accelerate Project

Monday, 08 April 2024: TU Dublin, a member of the European University of Technology (EUt+), hosted over 100 colleagues from the eight European members of the alliance, with events taking place across the University's campus in Grangegorman.  Warmly welcomed to Dublin by John O'Connor, Strategic Lead EUt+ at TU Dublin, and Dr Deirdre McQuillan, Project Team Leader EUt+, the delegation continues to collaborate on an ambitious plan to create a unified European University with nine campuses across Europe.
