RTU International Education Research Center established

According to the decision of the Senate of Riga Technical University (RTU), we are delighted to announce that a new structural unit – International Education Research Center (IERC) – has been established. The new center was established by merging the forces of the International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department (ICFSD) and the Faculty of E-Learning Technologies and Humanities (FETH).

RTU has many years of experience in the field of international education by implementing a large number of study programs offered to foreign students representing 86 countries. Establishment of IERC is a result of successful participation in projects jointly implemented by ICFSD and FETH – significant EU funding have been absorbed over the past few years. Some of ICFSD representatives have published scientific articles in the field of international education and intercultural communication.
