RTU and University of Strathclyde sign cooperation agreement of joint master study program

On December 11–13, representatives of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in UK – Reader in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Dr James Irvine and International Development Manager, Ms Jennifer Gazzard – visited RTU to sign cooperation agreement that provides implementation of joint master study program in the field of electronics and telecommunications.

During the visit, they held meetings with the Rector of RTU, Professor Leonids Ribickis, management, academic staff and students of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications and management of the International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department.

Representatives of the University of Strathclyde visited our facilities in RTU Ķīpsala Campus, where they were informed about RTU’s achievements in cooperation with the industry, as well as was given a visual insight into the technical supply of the university that is used for the provision of the study process and implementation of international research projects.

As well as we would like to convey a gratitude to Dr James Irvine for delivery of amazing lesson to RTU Engineering High School pupils. Our pupils have been taken to a journey through the magic world of wireless or “How Engineers Have Transformed Communications.”
