RTU and Polytech Nantes in France Agree to Foster Cooperation in Studies and Research
On Monday, 1 July, Prof. Tchanguiz Razban Haghighi, Director of International Cooperation of the Polytech Nantes – Graduate School of Engineering of the University of Nantes – paid a visit to RTU, in order to meet with the representatives of International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department and the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications (FET) and explore the possibilities of establishing cooperation in studies and research.
At the beginning of the visit, Prof. Tchanguiz Razban-Haghighi met with Prof. Igors Tipāns, Deputy Rector of International Academic Cooperation and Studies, Prof. Jurģis Poriņš, Dean of FET and Ēriks Badamšins, project manager of the International Cooperation Unit. During this meeting, the presentations of both institutions involved have been delivered by emphasizing competitive advantages within the field of electronics and telecommunications. After getting acquainted with the study and research activities implemented by both institutions, sides have shared ideas on possibilities of establishing joint study program and provision of the internships for Latvian and French students.
At the end of the visit, Prof. Tchanguiz Razban-Haghighi was provided with a visual insight into the technical supply of FET and other faculties that is used for the provision of the study process and implementation of international research projects.
